About Payal Salsburg
Payal Salsburg is an attorney focusing her law practice in the areas of business litigation, corporate advice and counsel, and white-collar criminal defense. She represents corporations, small businesses, and individuals in connection with an array of matters including contract and business disputes, False Claims Act litigation, and government and internal investigations. She also routinely advises closely held businesses on corporate and employment matters.
Payal also provides pro bono legal support to those in need. To name just a few instances, Payal participates in several successful CORI-sealing petitions and petitions for asylum. Her pro bono work also includes an appeal for an inmate on Florida’s death row, litigation, and appeal assistance for a not-for-profit foundation, and invoking Hague Convention protection to return a child wrongfully removed from the United States by a parent. She is also assigned counsel for criminal matters at the Boston Municipal Court (Central).
Outside of her work as a lawyer, Payal volunteers many hours at the Saint Francis House Day Shelter, Ricesticks and Tea Asian Food Pantry, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. She is recognized for her volunteerism by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award several years in a row.
The Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts is a non-partisan, non-profit organization devoted to serving the Asian American legal community and improving and facilitating the administration of law and justice.
